Privacy Policy — HosT.ia POS

1. Data Collection

HosT.ia POS does NOT collect, store, or transmit personal data. All information — tables, orders, menu items, settings, and backups — is stored exclusively on the user's device using local storage (IndexedDB / localStorage).

The app requests the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET — Reserved for future optional sync features. Currently unused.
• Storage — To export and import backup files (JSON). Only accessed when you explicitly tap "Export" or "Import".

2. Data Usage

The app works 100% offline. It does not require an internet connection. No data leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export a backup file and share it yourself.

There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no tracking pixels embedded in the app.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share data with third parties because we have no data to share. The app does not communicate with any external servers.

4. Data Retention

All data remains on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete it. You can export your data as a JSON backup at any time from the Settings screen. You can also reset all data from Settings.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is designed for business use (restaurants, bars, cafes). It does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, this is inherently satisfied.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we ever add any data collection features (e.g., optional cloud sync), we will update this policy, request your consent, and make the feature clearly opt-in.
